and night alikeexplores the different ways we perceive an object, both during the day and at night, particularly a luminous object. The goal of this exploration is to bring the object to life and play with light, even when the lamp is turned off.
Just as day and night are two separate entities, so is this suspended lamp. The base takes a rather traditional approach, diffusing a soft light through its opaline glass hemisphere. This part comes to life when more light is needed. In contrast, the ceramic upper section, with its distinctive cross shape, reveals the full strength of its personality when touched by daylight.
The wall-mounted version of Half & Half is free-spirited, extending 180 degrees across the wall
