Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by the Terms described below. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the site or services.
1. Legal Entity & DBA
LightNow is a registered Doing Business As (DBA) name of Lumin Escence, Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of Florida.
All purchases made through this website are transactions with Lumin Escence, Inc., and all invoices, support, and liability are handled accordingly.
2. Products & Fulfillment
LightNow operates as an independent reseller of lighting fixtures and accessories designed for hospitality, commercial, and residential applications.
Products sold on this site are not manufactured by LightNow, and are often fulfilled directly by third-party suppliers. As such:
- Product availability and delivery times may vary
- Shipping is often handled by third-party carriers
- LightNow is not responsible for supplier-side delays or errors
We strive to work only with reputable vendors and manufacturers, but cannot guarantee supplier stock levels, lead times, or product specifications beyond what is provided.
Commercial Conditions
Pricing: Prices are quoted in USD, EUR, or MXN.
Delivery: We offer delivery within North America & Mexico
Payment: We accept payments in USD, EUR, or MXN via U.S. or Mexican bank accounts.
Currency Conversion: Currency conversion will be based on the exchange rate at the time of deposit.
Lead Time: Estimated lead time is between 8–12 weeks from order confirmation.
Availability: Product availability is subject to change without prior notice, based on vendor stock.
3. Pricing & Orders
All prices listed on our site are in USD unless otherwise noted. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice.
Once an order is placed:
- You will receive an email confirmation
- Your payment will be processed by our payment processor
- Your order will be submitted to the appropriate supplier(s) for fulfillment
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion. If your payment is charged and your order is canceled, a full refund will be issued.
Price Match Guarantee
We will match the price of identical lighting products offered by any authorized retailer within 14 days of your purchase.
To qualify:
The product must be the exact same model, brand, and finish.
It must be in stock and publicly advertised by an authorized seller.
You must submit your request and documentation to info@lightnow.net within 14 days of your purchase.
Exclusions:
Auction sites (e.g., eBay).
Membership-only pricing.
Liquidation or clearance sales.
Custom quotes or discontinued items.
4. Shipping & Lead Times
Many of our products are made-to-order or custom-finished, with varying lead times depending on the vendor. While we provide estimated shipping windows, these are not guaranteed.
Shipping delays due to vendor backlog, carrier issues, supply chain disruptions, or acts of nature are not within our control.
All delivery dates are estimates only.
You agree that LightNow is not liable for damages resulting from delayed deliveries.
5. Returns & Cancellations
Due to the custom and high-value nature of many lighting products:
- All sales are final once production begins
- Returns may be accepted only if the item arrives damaged or defective
- Return requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
- Unauthorized returns will not be accepted
- Custom, special order, or made-to-order products are non-refundable
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error or a verified product defect.
6. Installation Disclaimer
Many of our lighting products require professional installation by a licensed electrician.
LightNow is not responsible for:
- Any damage caused by improper installation
- Labor or service costs related to installation or removal
- Code compliance or suitability for specific applications
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility with local building codes and electrical systems.
7. Warranties
All products sold by Lightnow are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. All warranty decisions are made by the product manufacturer or supplier, not by LightNow or Lumin Escence, Inc. Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer. Warranty terms vary by brand and typically range from 1 to 2 years. LightNow does not offer its own product warranties, but will assist in filing claims with the vendor where possible. To confirm the specific warranty coverage for your fixture, please contact us before or at the time of your purchase.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightNow and Lumin Escence, Inc. are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Product defects beyond our control
- Losses related to delays, installation errors, or product misuse
- Damages exceeding the total amount paid for the order
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including product images, descriptions, branding, and layout — is either owned by or licensed to LightNow and Lumin Escence, Inc. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Miami Dade, Florida.
